My first career was graphic design, and I have continued to use the skill for creating instructional materials and supporting non-profits and small businesses. In my new career as an instructional designer, graphic design helps me create more engaging online professional development for instructors, and I am currently developing a series of PD courses on visual learning, literacy, and design. When time permits and during the holiday season, I also sell print-on-demand and digital designs on Etsy for my own personal enjoyment. My shop's main categories are Social Studies Education (e.g., Women's History Posters), Pop Culture Fandoms (e.g. What Would Buffy Do Shirts), and Santa Baseball Cards (which my husband draws and I design into products like mugs and ornaments).
